Jeffery is the founder and visionary behind Sankofa Tribe. Raised in a deeply rooted Ghanaian home, Jeffery grew up immersed in tradition, values, and storytelling. His parents instilled in him a strong sense of pride, identity, and connection to his Akan culture, a foundation that continues to shape his creative journey. From an early age, Jeffery understood that culture is not just something to remember, but something to live, wear, and pass on. This belief became the heartbeat of Sankofa Tribe: a brand committed to honoring heritage while designing for the modern African and the global diaspora. Through Sankofa Tribe, Jeffery seeks to tell stories of identity, resilience, and pride. Using fashion as a bridge between the past and the present. Every piece reflects intention, craftsmanship, and a deep respect for African roots, reimagined for today’s lifestyle.

Sankofa Tribe was born from a simple but powerful idea: that our past holds the key to who we are becoming. Inspired by the Akan philosophy Sankofa, meaning “go back and take what is yours” our brand is a return to roots, culture, and identity, reimagined for modern living.
